CIVIL ENGINEERING OUTREACH (CEO) PROGRAM
As a freshman in college, I founded a curriculum in hands-on civil engineering projects like bridge design, water filtration and computer modelling for women from Long Island high schools.
UNIVERSITY OF MISSOURI
As the invited keynote speaker at the University of Missouri's 2017 Engineering Olympics, I addressed an audience of more than fifty undergraduates about going 'Beyond the Lego': crafting unique, personalized stories to communicate science and apply for scholarships.
GLOBAL WOMENS INITIATIVE
In 2013, my ten page research paper on issues impeding women in science received the Grand Prize of the Advancing Aspirations scholarship and an invited speaker to Chicago
DISNEY IMAGINEERING
As a winner of the American Society of Civil Engineer's Innovation Contest in 2016, I delivered a 45 minute pitch of my 'big idea' to integrate text message alerts as a method to encourage water conservation to an audience of Disney executives in Los Angeles.
